BMW’s popularity has transcended multiple generations, and the 2026 X3 upholds that notion at Peake BMW. With compelling mechanical prowess and a tech-loaded interior, this luxury compact SUV is poised to be your go-to mode of transportation around Mandeville. To see how this model compares to other cars in its class, take a look at how it performs against the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC!

Performance

If groundbreaking performance is at the top of your wishlist, the X3 will elevate your time spent on Hickory Highway. A 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine comes standard, and this system kicks out 255 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The GLC includes a standard 2.0L turbo powertrain as well, so you’ll also have access to the same horsepower and torque ratings. Are you looking to flip your drives into high gear? The X3’s available 3.0L M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder system sings to the tune of 393 horsepower and 428 lb.-ft. of torque. Unfortunately, the GLC’s optional 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and electric motor falls short, as it’s only capable of providing 313 horsepower and 406 lb.-ft. of torque.

Technology

For an advanced technology and entertainment experience, set your sights on the 2026 BMW X3. The SUV comes standard with a 14.9-inch touchscreen display, so accessing your onboard navigation and smartphone applications will be a breeze. If you choose the Mercedes-Benz GLC, you’ll be downsizing, as this vehicle offers a standard 11.9-inch interface within the dashboard. To make accessibility a fun and exciting experience, the X3’s BMW Interaction Bar is located beneath the touchscreen, and allows you to adjust your climate control system, navigation, media and more with simple swipes. Unfortunately, this feature isn’t available in the Mercedes-Benz SUV. For extended road trips, the BMW’s standard 12-speaker sound system will place you at the epicenter of a concert hall listening experience. The 2026 GLC pales in comparison, as it features a standard 8-speaker setup.

Exterior

You’ll radiate confidence from the moment you slip into the cabin of the 2026 X3. With thirteen available paint colors to choose from like Alpine White, Arctic Race Blue Metallic, and Frozen Deep Gray, you’ll have a variety of options to reflect your personality. You won’t have the same type of customization with the Mercedes-Benz GLC, as it only has eight available hues that include Polar White and Graphite Gray Metallic. Is letting warmth cascade throughout the cabin a must? If so, you’ll appreciate the X3’s optional Sky Lounge Panoramic Moonroof. And, while the GLX supplies a similar ceiling, it doesn’t cover the same amount of real estate. Lastly, both SUVs come standard with 19-inch wheels and all-season tires, so you can have unyielding confidence regardless of the conditions ahead.
